The Museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

We offer Special tours for groups and educational tours by appointment please call for more information if interested.

The Museum is located at 400 South Main Street in historic Gordonsville, VA. The Museum is approximately 18 miles northeast of Charlottesville; 41 miles west of Fredericksburg; 54 miles northwest of Richmond; and 93 miles southwest of our Nation's Capital.

The Museum building, a National Historic Landmark, is not handicap accessible, and takes approximately 1+ hours to explore the three levels of exhibitions. For those unable to tour the upper levels, a film is available for viewing on the first floor. Sorry, the Museum does not allow pets.
